D is for Driving
I have been putting a lot of miles on my poor old Saturn. On all three on my Michigan trip, I had to drive to a larger airport because it is so expensive to fly out of Lynchburg. The first two, I drove to Dulles, near DC, and the last one, I drove to Richmond. I love to drive and my car gets great gas mileage, 35-38mpg. It has over 210,000 miles on it though, and I know it can't last forever. Other than the shifter cables breaking last year, I haven't had any recent trouble with it. I think I am going to take a train trip this Summer. I traveled by train in Japan and loved it. It's like flying without as much security hassle. More on my planned trip later.
